In his lecture “Navigating the Generations,” delivered at the 2012 Missiology Lectures, Soong-Chan Rah examined the sociocultural factors at play across generations within immigrant churches—with a specific look at the Asian North American church.
In response, Sunoko Lin and Timothy K. Park discussed the generational divides in Asian Immigrant churches.
At the time of recording, Soong-Chan Rah was the Milton B. Engebretson Associate Professor of Church Growth and Evangelism at North Park Theological Seminary, Sunoko Lin was pastor of Maranatha Christian Fellowship, and Timothy K. Park was professor of Asian mission and director of Korean Studies at Fuller Seminary.
