Love Sechrest, associate professor of New Testament, lectures on the difference between personal and structural racism, how racism is implicated in the foundational structures of American life, and lessons within Romans and Revelations for resisting empire. Dr. Sechrest delivered “Waking Up on the Wrong Side of Empire: Race, Romans, and Revelation for Today” on April 20, 2017 as part of All-Seminary Council’s “Last Lecture” series.
